DESIGNERS PROFILE

Kristina JGENTI was born on April 12, 1981, in a small town in Georgia, but she rаised in a multicultural and huge family with six daughters. Her mother is Russian and her father is Georgian. Since her childhood she had always strong passion for fashion and design.

After graduating high and fine art schools she moved to the capital of Georgia and began her studies at the academy of fine arts. She was 17 years old when she created her first collection and it was spotted by members of the world’s leading fashion school “ESMOD”.

After sending her portfolio to ESMOD she was admitted to the fashion designer courses. During her studies she was outstanding student by her talent and active participation in various fashion competitions and shows. She took part in the fashion competitions organized by the Swedish company: ZERO GROUP (third place), and French company of JACQUES VABRE (first place) for creation outfits. Also she did Internships at fashion houses such as DUPRE SANTABARBARA, LOLITA LEMPICKA, DICE KAYEK, and then Kristina received a grant to study and create her graduation collection at leading fashion house “Lesage”.

In 2007, she started to work as a designer in the French company “PHILIPPE CARAT”, very soon she became a head designer, where she worked for eight years. After many years of experience, she decided to create her own brand JKline.

THE BRAND JKLINE

The brands name was born of the contraction of the designer’s surname and first name. JKline is Paris based luxury ready-to-wear brand, dedicated to the women with a strong personality, who desires to be elegant and provocative at the same time. The brand inspires a unique style. The materials used as well as the cuts individual styles create the brand's independent image.To ensure the quality and the confined luxurious strategy of the brand, all of the products are handmade, with only high quality natural fabrics, furs, leathers and authentic designs.
